Feb. 9, '82 SE of Chinchora at the village of Tausa, elev. (4100 below Tausa from chinchori 5564 Ollucus tuberosus Caldas n.v. Arequipa Lisas Her Succulent herb cultivated in field for its edible tubers. Flowers yellow green. Many flowers with abnormal numbers of stamens (4-10) and often double the number of petals. Stems green, with scattered red blotch lines. Leaves held more erect in this variety than others. Tuber color yellow orange, Tuber shape round to oblong. Some plants observed with mature seeds.
