5363 Lepichenia 4. nodate, shrub to 2.0 m., red inflorescence purplish. 5364. Lythraceae? upper two petals repeat but one large dorsal petal on floor. Periodic dark violet. December 7, 1981 with Steve King. on road to San Pedro from Sorata. 1½ hour walk from Jorda Sleep rocky slope above road. 2630 - 2750 m. many terrestrial bromeliads 5365 orchid to 1.3m. sepals & upper 2 petals magenta, Labellum magenta to lavender, with lighter area at fusion union of the 3 lobes of the labellum - lighter area turning yellowish no fragrance noted in clumps
