Sept. 21, 1330 Took the following 9
birds in the trap in the Behavior lab:
1mm. ♂ - banded #56620 and released.
1mm. ♂ - banded #56621, and released.
1mm. ♂ - banded #56622, and released.
1mm. ♀ - banded #56623, and released.
1mm. ♀ - recapture, band #56614
1mm. ♀ - recapture, band #56616.
1mm. ♀ - recapture, band #56618.
Ad. ♀ - collected (band #56613)
Ad. ♂ - collected (unbanded)
All immatures seemed to be of
the same age - feathers on back of
the neck poorly developed, with
sheaths black only beginning
to develop on throat of ♂, although
♂ pattern nearly complete on
top and sides of head. Relaited
and set the trap.
Sept. 22, 1300 One bird only in the
trap - ad. ♂ banded #56624 and
released. Molt almost complete,
feather on back of the neck still
sheathed, those on the head not.
