1010 A single quail flushed from near
the hut as I approached the Behavin

fence line in A-10. Grain around
trap outside showed no signs of
being used. 1030. A ? moved from
the position where he had been crouched
almost motionless for 20 minutes in
C-10; a ? with at least 3 Silver chicks
foraging in A-10; and a female perched
on weeds in B-8 while movement of other
birds was glimpsed behind her. 1033 band

1034. The whole covey came into center
clearing to feed. Counted 15 large
birds & ? 4 half-grown chicks.
