W.J.Francis 1963. California Quail July 5. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co., 2006 A pair with no chicks crossed B-8 to B-7 eucalyptus. 2009. Pair left B-7 eucalyptus for water hole and center cleanly - identified as $3$ and $5$ - this is not (or rather has not pre- viously been) a mated pair. 2011 This pair dust-bathed as another pair was seen in a chase around E-9 eucalyptus, one flying up into the brush. 2014. A $\$ flew from the base of E-9 eucalyptus up into it. 2015 Pair completed dust bath, and walked toward E-9, feeding and preening, then walked under the eucalyptus shrub, as two birds (one a $\$) flew to ground from the brush. 2022 Green $\$ ran rapidly from C-9 to center cleaning and feed for 2 minutes then ran to the base of E-9 eucalyptus, and flew into it. July 6. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co., 1602. Red $\$ near fence in Behrman Lab. pen, area E-3, with another $\$ just outside the fence. 1608 Orange $\$ climbed to exposed perch
