California Condor
Elen McMillan
7 Sept. 1964
At 12:30 p.m. Alden Miller, Jan and I drove to Palo Prieta Canyon to see
if the condor Gregory McMillan had observed yesterday might have
returned. We saw only Red-tailed Hawks.
Mrs. Farnsworth phoned collect from Glennville stating that she had
observed what she took to be an adult condor fly in from the southeast
above her buildings and land in area where Bull Curcass is one-
quarter mile Northwest of her barn. She also added that there were unusually large
numbers of Turkey Vultures concentrating in the area of her Ranch Headquarters.
