slowly and after arriving above the east foothills of
Cholame valley in the vicinity of Cholame
Rock they circled briefly then appeared to let down,
as if to investigate something on the ground, but before
lowering within 200 yards of ground they rose up again and
circled high for several moments before flying out eastward
Towards the Maxey Ranch, where they passed from sight
at 11:48 a.m. against the dark brush covered
hillside behind the Maxey Ranch.
At 12:58 I met Dan who was to watch Cholame
flats this afternoon. I left the area at 12:35 p.
m.
