It is going to be difficult to get satisfactory information from these people relative to their ever [illegible] injected the carcass of dead sheep with strong potions of compound 1080, in order to poison Coyotes, that would come to eat on carcass. One of the shepherds today told me that one of his two sheepdogs had disappeared. One Golden Eagle, three Ravens and [illegible] Red-Tailed- Hawks were the only large birds seen today. The West wind blew a tempest all day throughout the eastern foothills of the Tichachy's mountains. clouds or fog, hung over the mountain tops and it was quite cool.
