I drove to Bakersfield by five o'clock from where I called Mrs. Slaytor of the San Emigdio Ranch who told me of having reports of / Condor seen by Walter Slaytor in the mountains behind the ranch on 5 November 1963 -- One, what Mrs. Slaytor took for a Condor in the Orchard behind the ranch at Noon on November 23-1963 and Yesterday 11, December-1963 Mr. Justinian [illegible] reported seeing Two Condor North of the San Emigdio Ranch buildings at 11:00 A.M. It was Cold when I arrived home at 7:00 P.M.
