alifornia condor Eben Mcmillan 27 August 1963 I drove to luke field of spring ranch 8 miles Northwest of cholame, sierra county Calif. to check on the offal of a deer that Gregory mcmillan shot last evening. NO Buzzards came to this carrion by 1:00 p.m. I Loaded the offal in my pickup and took it home dumping it on the hilltop west of the chicken house above my house. Four Buzzards came to this offal at 3:15 p.m. and fed. The wind was easterly - The Temperature warm - It appears that Turkey Buzzards are not leaving their roosting places as early as was the case in early summer. I saw no Buzzards flying in the cholame flats Today.
