California Condor Page 2 mcmillan-Eben 29 January 1963 Jan and I spent the morning, and until 4:00 P.M., as the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, in Berkeley, going over plans for the Condor Study that can be presented to Carl Buckheister of National Audubon Society for his approval. Our conclusions were, that Jan and myself would conduct the Condor census with Dr. Alden Miller, directing and coordinating its activities. Matters of expenses, procedure, necessary information, equipment needed, and time and duration of the study were thoroughly discussed. We lunched with Dr. Miller and William Frances, a student at M.V.Z. on matters pertaining to Quail reproduction and weather. Jan and I left Berkeley at 4:30 P.M. arriving home in Shandon at 12:30 A.M. after stopping for dinner at Don McMillan home in Hayward.
