california condor Eben McMillan 11 July 1 Chase Condor he had hidden after a feeding Condor, had become afraid of the Condor and refuse to approach close, he could have lassoed the bird easily before it got into the air. Mr. West [illegible] could capture Condor quite easily. The above is important as evidence that People must be educated that Condors are not to be disturbed or captured. Stories such as the Lewis Wayne [illegible] affair trigger an interest in people to try to capture Condor. Also important seems to be protective attitude held by most of the people in the Grani Station area towards Condor, for the reason that they know Condor, and have become interested in them through the efforts of Edna Williams and a few others women of the area. Educating People about Condor in areas which these birds range seem to add to the chances of Condor to survive. Education
