California Condor-
Eben McMillan
3 July 1913
Condor
Food
See condor there when he worked on the County roads many
years ago. Mr. With said the Condor used to come into the
field in Walker basin after mice or rats, for he said he
used to see them out in the meadows pecking around
at things on the ground that he thought to be mice or rats.
We then drove to near top of Breekenridge Mountain where we
camped for the night in an improved forest camp at about
the 6800 foot level. It was cool in the evening and cold
during the night.
