Shot Condor-
30 may-1963
Someone had shot a Condor and hung it on
a fence that was about 100 feet from the
roadway and that she remembers a road being
made by Continued tracks of Automobiles that
in Passing this place would leave the main
road to drive over and look at the dead Condor,
She also remembered seeing Condor as a young
girl, and then many years passed, Until She
saw Condor again.
One young, well developed Golden Eaglet was on
the Old nest in Brown Canyon on the Iber Hansen
Property four miles to the South of Shandon, S.D.O.
County, California. This young bird was observed
at 9:30 A.m., no old birds were seen
about the nest site.
a Cool damp fog filled the Salinas
Valley basin until 10:30 A.m. and
japped over into the San Joaquin and
Carissa plains areas. It burned off by
11:00, A.m. and made for a fine afternoon.
