Gymnogyps californianus December 29,1947 Hopper Canyon Ventura Co. Canyon, slope at 100' altitude. At 11:45 one was circling over Wooly Canyon & another about 1 mile south over the ridge, both adults. About 12:00 I saw an adult & a dark imm. soaring over head of Wooly, We had made quite a rocket shooting quail in the canyon.
