it from various sides. 1:22, one adult chased another 50' downhill - the chased one flew & other returned uphill, galloping & flopping wings. Another 2 also took off from the upper group, but about 19 still left. 1:25, one adult flew at another & the latter took off. About 4 birds, 3 or 4 adults, were in a group 50' downhill from bait in the dry oat grass; occasionally they nibbled or jumped at each other. 1:28, about 15 left, the bait apparently considerably flattened. One walked uphill slowly, the head bobbing forward with each step (every 1/2 sec.), chicken-like.
1:31, most of the hide was being dragged downhill slowly, about 5 condors tugging at it. It was about 60' below original spot & behind a bush from me at 1:32. About 5 condors stood near the first spot, then walked slowly downhill after the group. 1:38, the last bird left original spot (adult). 1:37, only 1 (adult) visible in Near Roat Trees. 1:39 About 6 condors emerged from behind tree about 50 yds. downhill from original spot, apparently working on part of carcass. Occasionally one or more jumped up flopping, or pecking at another. Two turkey vultures landed at original spot; one adult stood quietly 50' below this. One adult at body held wings up V, then
