Out 4 miles, bay and breezy NW
1000s of Sooty Shearwaters came
from S. with a few pink feet
nearly all flying out, 2 or 3
working in. 2 Black-headed
Gulls with Sooty's first.
Sterns: Sabines gulls, Common
Terns work in also,
but PM when Westerly wind
starts some of terns work
out again, some feeding in
Current streak on maetilus?
Shells & little fish. Several
Red & Northern phalaropes frequent.
Several gapers, 1 pelican
going out. Gulls working
Toward Mews in morning.
4 or 5 Egg Serpents near Kelp,
Few Call impudelate gulls
outside Western Common.
N.e. shore. 2 Puffins & a
Puffer seen
