Sept 2 Leaving Ensenada noon for for San Diego 78 miles up coast lots of fish + pelicans + Western Gulls curvum fishing 4 or 5 Black terns in 1 flock. with it westward 2. Big coons seen or maybe same one 1/2 hr later flying north also flock of 3- scoters, surf flying north Two saw 5-6 or more going South off Ensenada Bay 1 Royal Tern seen fishing along kelp + few Shearwaters also. The perhaps rather close in being just outside Kelp 1/2 to mile 7/2 out Scared two fishing boats out to sea as had men can play up
