Down Canon for petrels P.M.,
first called across Canon at
7.30, 8.30 frequent light fire
' til 10.30 but Moonshine
kept them free like a fog pond
the noise down Canon
Continual racket. rapid
trillery sort of call what tut tut tut
tut tut tut. tut about 4 A.M.
they quit, egg W.F. on nest
must call also those flying
also plenty seen, left above
our island. Many come to
edge & figures swine away
get & shot 2 Stinties
fly like swifts - dart like
what one struck palm tree
above fire, but flew on.
Black cat seen near water
6 goats on ledge where cant
get to jump into it easy but
cant fit back. Several dead
seen in cave on it sometimes
bright. Petrels nesting under
big rocks + in cracks, fire from
10.30 to 4 A.M.
