105 Oct 18 Out 20 miles North Gbenny ½ dozen Ashy Petrels seen & shot Going out by Bay Woul Sea. W. Wind changing to West late. Quite a few Blackvented Shearwaters as well as other Shearwaters. Many Terns came across from Sta. Mary, several flocks. Terns that go south. Some flocks of Gulls come in from South French Shore. Speed about a dozen. Five Black Manx Oct 19 Out 3 miles Wester Way Calm till 11 A.m. when strong SW wind start, Ashy Petrel, Sea Pelicans in flocks & East 24 at 11 m. Flocks seen. 1 single Gocing Pres go out of South passing the flocks going opposite direction. Single marked Murrelet join South. I see yesterday gulls same way first Fulmar, Common Blackvented Shearwater.
