Species accounts
Pterodroma neglecta

One light phase bird flew over about
10:15. Forehead and underparts completely
white. Crown, neck, and back light grey.
Underwing dark with conspicuous white
patches at wrist. Patches were not oval
but present shaped like a shrun.
General shape and size like wedge tail,
with coloration like Dr. Farmany.
Wings slender and long with a slight
dent at the wrist, not as broad or
straight like P. epectena.

Description: dark brown above. Brown
extending down to chest below, very
similar to Tattleration P. rostrata.
White lower chest and abdomen. Under-
wing dark with oval white patch at
wrist. A olive range white patch shows
through dorsal side of wing at broad primaries.
General appearance close to wedge tail
with some brown color.
