Mustangi, Meika A. 1993 journal 31 E.B. Boracéia - SP very similar to a large Micoureus. Both still had the deciduous preocular in place. They were caught close to the creek on trilha da cachoeira dos pilões. We caught 25, 15, 16, 15, and 16 individuals on the 5 night that we had traps open. A total of 135 x 5 = 675 trapnight. 2 sp of marsupial, (Philander opossum and D.delphidis marsupial'ig), 6 species of rodent: 1 Proechimys and 5 Sigmomodon finae (Akodon, Delomys, Oligoryzomys, Oryzomys, Rhipidomys and Proechimys). Of all arboreal traps, we had only 2 captures: 1 Rhipidomys and 1 Oryzomys (the latter showing/accomplishing quite a remarkable climbing feat). Besides taking tissue (liver and kidney) in alcohol and liquid nitrogen for all individuals, we prepared chromosome material (frozen) for Akodon, Oryzomys and Rhipidomys. "tovagininha" (bird) fell 4 times in Tomahawk traps. Didelphis, both black and gray morphs, visited our traps (according to Antonio they are not common in Boracéia) and were trapped 4 times, on 3 different days. They (or another animal?) messed up with some other traps without being caught inside. On two occasions traps were carried far away from their original place, one of them we never found (a Sherman). The first was a Tomahawk with probably a Oryzomys inside, when we found it there was only 1/2 animal
