into a tea is used by the natives for liver trouble.
22. Esquera. - composite white flowers. Charchani,
16400 ft alt. May 21, 1892. Administered by the
natives for lung troubles.
23. (In large cigar box) different plants from
Charchani, 16400 ft alt. May 21, 1892. Contains
Yarata (mouldy now) Parco, Esquera, plant like
running pine (which in this case grows in
a solid circular bed, several feet in
diameter of a tall pole green stick.) Y Y.
24. Lichens probably from Meteorological station

the Misti, a volcano near Arequipa. About
