Bring by means of rope to crevices of giant Cliff. Difficult work but Potentilla nivea- Trichas brevifolia, Draba arabisans, & a single Calema posthacavas- Carex humma in one spot - Arenem. mult. scattered but rarely fruity on cliff- At base of cliff Poa prat. Dominant very large, Stellaria boursii very large & stiff, full of fl. (fr., Jul. 18 To Cap north of Baptiste Michauds much like yesterdays - but cooler & damper, Saxif. Alpoides & Cacch there in fl. Pyrola Asarumia vercrimson - Agrilequia in fl - Butychium simplex in damp crevice - Pellaea fracalis large - 1 lerga spring Aystopt, frag measured 16½ in tall ! Poa sep - fresh wife- Arabis hispida. Osmorhiza obtusa abund, on moss on cliff pocket leaf flowering Cerast, alpinum - Berceingianum - Return at low water to 3d Cap. Jul 16 - East of Michauds, Zigadenea in fine fl. Rockto carpeted with Saxif.
