Doey, July 11 Start with Collins for the St Lawrence - Min Shaw to Min Brooks on train bound for the Saguenay - Temiscouata mixed train, First half of trip Att 2 2 class but of car filled by drunken river- drivers, Dined at Notre Dame du Lac - Ar. at R. du L. in Shoreis - St. Lawr, densely foggy - Ladies decide to wait over for bright weather. Get good rooms at the Bellevue. Short walk after supper - Cerastium avense in fine fl. July 12 Drive in morning to the big marsh Pypola minor betr., R du L, & Cacoma - P. asarifolia just passing from bloom - G. asarifolia in wood mostly white, with faintest hints of pink. In grass by roadside a large Campanula abundant. Fls. clustered resembling Gentiana abundant. Big marsh in fine order - Androsani, Pedicularis palustris, 00.- With it in spots Stellaria humifusa & S. Crassizigolia, microst. monoph- abundant, also Blyonmus rufus, Small Carex Goodwinii etc., Dris Head in slat for ten gravel rocks -
