Took usual course & each pair separated after cross- sing road & creek & worked dry gully & across to main creek & met other pair who had come up stream from gully ahead of us & crossed foot bridge by Chinnaway. Hunted N. side of creek thinking we had gone along W. side of creek from bridge. Found more rests on this alc. 6/9 Met Wheelers by appointment @ Miles 2/d The had barn all our swamp. jest shauled all in sight. (according to data this date) Saw just Cin. Zeal. Mr. Saw Ruddies & died last year. Gamekeeper says are Mallard & Red heads there. Saw no Bitterns, Grebes, or Gallinules
