Found by Billy J. who ex- amined nest while I traced the rotten limb. 6/29 2 eggs. 7/1 3 eggs 1/2 took sit. 32 1/4 203) 6/27 C. D. 1 egg: found by Billy J. in "summer" grass under big tanks. 7/11 took set of 17. The dates show 2 quail laid, Aug 5— eggs are buff through shelled. 12 slightly bloodshot. 17 94 204) 6/27 Anna's (x less probably A. or R. Hummer. 2 young about fledged. 8ft up on N. side of cypress nr. of towhee briers, old Bird flew from nest as I rode by on mule. Left nest. 205) 6/28 C. D. 12 fresh eggs, 1 dented & 1 buff unspotted. Plenty small feathers about nest that the dented egg showed a cat had tackled the hen. 12 94 206) 6/28 Russet-backed Thrush. 3 slightly incubated eggs. 8ft. up in briers
