several sets eggs in unfinished nest
in ivy clad stump in Ocl's garden.
Other nests too high for ladder. Gen-
trally 4, sometimes 5 young in one
nest, occasionally 3 + 1 case 2 Van
other case 1.
89) 4/28 Eng. Spar. 5 young. W. side
of sum. house.
90) 4/28 Plain Titmouse 5076
young fully fledged. put step ladder
on a fan of windmill, top of wood
pile back Engine house & Paul stead-
ed it. A stub, open above, had
a small cavity running in 2
feet which I never knew existed.
Saw bird enter with grub. Heard
bird singing long ago but could
not locate nest. Eggs probably laid
1st 1/2 of mar. Billy G. says 4/20 he
saw bird go in last year.
