1895 from tangled brush vines the shollow anded willow limb, about 70 ft. long x 6 in. in diam., that I saw before found a woodpecker hole near down end. Tipped limb so eggs, if any would roll back & thus found birds, about 11 days old.

(124) 5/5 Halls. Brew. b. b. nest of eggs far out on express that Wheeler & I camped last visit & think they do not invariably rebuild. Couldn't reach it alone. One nest had 3 birds & 2 eggs that had 2 eggs at our last visit.
