Bird on nest. Nest of dead leaves & grass. 3/95 284) R.-b. Thrush. 7 ft. up in similar position a little further south. 3, in- cubation 3/5. 3/95 285) R.-b. Thrush. just made. Wt. I near above rather in cottonwood (2 there now, 1st one never occupied?) a- cross creek from farm house where we tied up. 287) R.-b. Thrush. 4 eggs taken for Samson. 6 ft. in briars W. side of creek, N. and tall willows. 288) Cal. Towhee taken nearby, by Samson. 4 eggs, look. fresh. Richly marked. 3 ft. up in briars. 289) Tel.
