Eggs in nest in profusion in hedge (cypress) at farmhouse. 306) H. Finch. In April. Found by Samson in willow, 2 of young crushed by branch moving against nest by wind. 387) M. Dove. 2 vicub. begun. 7 ft., on willow fallen horizontally across creek N. end of tall willows. Bird flushed: 2/95 Alameda 308) 4, Val. Part. 11 fresh. Well concealed in "sour" grass under oak by orch. gashouse. Flushed bird. Billy J. found it nest with 10 eggs while riding mule. 11/95 309) 6/, Val.
