birds. A single bird arrives
and hovers about, alighting a
few times. Small flocks and
the large one pass without
stopping. All of the other
birds have left. Time of above

Ordinarily if there is a flock
following a plot all birds
passing by will stop for a
few minutes at least! Otherwise they may or may not.
One bird is still resting on
the plowed ground. This bird
is a g.g. U.n. When disturbed
it flew only a short distance
flopping its wings several
times before it left. Perhaps
it is gorged with food.
There are several dead an-
imals in the river bed and
I have seen Gulls feeding
