Alfred Bilman and I observed a Red-tail poise
in the air without the
least effort apparently
except after it had stayed still for at least two
minutes its wings began
to flap gently it would
then move on and repeat
the performance
April-25-1895.
Took a set of five eggs of
some unknown Warbler. The nest was placed against
the trunk of an oblique willow
tree and supported by some
shoots on the outside. The
nest was in a rather open
wooded place in the wooded
