The sidewalls also keep the wind from getting at his tail from the side.
The floor of the platfrom has holes bored at the four corners
to let out any rain that may enter. On top of this floor is a
"super" floor scored crosswise (See Fig.1.) with deep grooves.
These grooves give further drainage and are , moreover, so spaced a
as to enable him to get a firm grip in the event of his having to
get out in a hurry.
A perch is arranged in front for convenience in entering and
leaving.
The whole affair is camouflaged with dabs, streaks and
splatches of white, green and red paint and "no paint at all".
