San Leandro Bay, Sloughs, S. shore Bay Farm Island, Alameda Co., Cal.
Rallus obsoletus. Shot one which was on mud at edge of grass. Called in agony when shot.
Terns. Several on south shore of Bay Farm Island. Probably Sterna forsteri.
Larus Philadelphia. Two immature ones.
Gulls. Three or four larger gulls.
Cormorants. Two or three flying.
Ardea herodias. Several.
Nycticorax nycticorax. Several.
