134 Alameda, to San Francisco, cal. Conditions: - About 7:30 A.M.; cool; hazy; crowded to speak of. Along the mole only one or two birds small were seen, a grebe in the water and a dis- tant duck flying. Several land birds were seen flying eastward along it. Yesterday on central Avenue, Alameda, I saw one or two Sturmella magna, also a flock of 20 or so Euphagus cyanocceph- alus on a telegraph wires. 26, 1907. Alameda to San Francisco, cal. This morning it was rather foggy. Along the mole one or two Colangula clangula, several gulls flying and on the water, several small grebes, and one cormorant on the water quite close to the mole were seen. In the evening in front of the Ferry Building, San Francisco, there were a good many Larus californicus, Larus canus or Larus brachyrhynchus, and Larus glaucescens.
