Alameda to and from San Francisco, Cal.
Conditions: - Strong WW wind; moderate temperature;
clear.
Birds along the mole were about the same
as observed yesterday. Several Scaup ducks and
Scoters being observed in the evening.
Srode inside the steamer both ways.
May 4, 1907.
Alameda to and from San Francisco, Cal.
Conditions: - Moderate temperature; WW wind clear.
In the morning along the marsh were a few
Numenius hudsonicus; the sandpipers and
gulls were in the light at the roundhouse
as usual; several ducks were still lingering
along the mole.
In the evening few gulls were seen Practically now followed the boat. An immature
Larus glaucescens and an adult Larus
californicus were seen. A few Larus philadelphia seen at a distance.
Half a dozen Numenius hudsonicus flying
