Conditions:- Moderate temperature; Light wind; clear. Larus glaucescens are common as usual. I saw two Aechmophorus occidentalis (?) this evening along the mole. Heard curlew at the foot of the street this morning. Mar. 31, 1907. Alameda, cal. Conditions:- Warm; light wind; clear. I noted a good many Larus californicus, nearly all adults, in Oakland creek.
