No. 24556 265 Symphemia semipalmata ♀ 266 Pelidna alpina ♀ 267 MAY 13 1905 Mrs. Beck went hunting Monday, Wednesday, and to-day:- He obtained the following species: Aythya marila affinis. One Monday. Phalaropus lobatus. Five from pools in marsh on Wednesday Macronhamphus griseus. A few Tringa canutus. Common. 24 to-day. He found them in the deep San Leandro slough and most in Mebrose. Pedidna alpina. A few; Symphemia semipalmata. Limosa fedoa. Squatarola squatarola. None to-day. MAY 20 1905 During the past week Larus californicus has been quite common on the bay; they do not follow the ferry steamers, however. A few Larus occidentalis may be seen occasionally, while Larus philadelphia is fairly common at times. Two or three seoters may be seen along the mole, while yesterday I saw two Aythya marila near Goat Island. MAY 23 1905
