Deep slough south of RR track, San Leandro Bay, Alameda, Cal.
7:00 A.M. to 12:30 A.M.
Conditions: Cold; warming towards noon; no wind.
One grebe, in San Leandro Bay.
Gulls. A good many large gulls passed over the
Bay early in the morning.
Larus philadelphia. One.
Gavia immer. One in slough.
Goldeneyes; a few in slough. Very few ducks in
flight.
Eurismatura jamaicensis. Common.
Celidua alpina? (Crennetes occidentalis?) [illegible] - almost abundant.
A neighbor brought in from north of the RR, five
Aythya valisineria; one Blangula blangula; one Euris-
matura jamaicensis.
