7:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.
Clear; moderate temperature; no wind.
Along seawall and mole, a few grebes [illegible].
Rode inside the boat; near the city saw many
Larus californicus and one Larus glaucescens.
NOV 29 1904
Route & Conditions & Time same as above.
A few grebes along the mole. Rode inside
the ferry boat, hence saw few birds. Near the city
Larus californicus was abundant.
NOV 30 1904
Route & Time as above. Conditions:- Moderate tempera-
ture; SE wind; some rain; has rained during the
night.
Along the mole: About 40 gulls cornishants alighted
on the water. Quite a few gulls in flight. Near
the city Larus californicus was abundant. Rode inside.
In the evening at 5:30 P.M. conditions were the
same as morning of Nov. 29. Gulls; only a few seen.
