APR - 3 1904 Alameda, bal. (at home.) A pair of swallows were seen, — species undetermined; also a few Euphagus cyanocephalus. APR - 4 1904 Alameda, bal. to San Francisco, bal. On my way to the city, I saw a good many Euphagus cyanocephalus in flight. There were a good many Sterna on the sand and in the pools left bare by the tide, down near Fifth St. Station. Along the mole there were hundreds of ducks and gulls (Larus occidentalis, I presume). Among the ducks I am certain of Aristonetta valisneria. APR - 5 1904 Alameda, bal. to San Francisco, bal. A few Sterna were seen. APR - 8 1904 Alameda, bal. (at home.) Aphelocoma californica Zonotrichia leucophrys APR 17 1904 Alameda, bal. Passer domesticus. A great many were seen. Carpodacus mexicanus.
