Zenaidura carolinensis
July 2, 1908.
No. 72 now has another egg on her shingle on the fence.
Aug. 5, 1908.
No. 72 seems to have deserted her egg entirely.
Aug. 6, 1908.
I placed no. 72's egg under Streptopelia risoria, no.
31.
Aug. 14, 1908.
This evening I found an egg shell on the
ground at the foot of the post. I do not
know whether it belongs to the Mourning Doves
or the Barbary Turtle Doves, as the Eggs of
both are now due to hatch.
