(We did not return by the dairy road where
there were three House Wrens located for nesting
May 11 (1 nest in egg-poultry house abovdairy,
1 Calves' shed)
May 26 Cool. Codornices Park. The same species
as on May 18 except that we did not see
the titmouse or Bewick Wren, both of which
had families out of the nest on May 18; no
Lazuli Bunting or Fox Sparrow. The Cliff Swallows
have nests under the platform of the water
tower in the middle of the reservoir. The
female Grosbeak was sitting on the nest in the elder.

At 9 a.m., the Rq. wrapped Swallows were flying
near the Reiber Wall.
May 27. Cool. I heard Hutton Vireos scolding as went &
the window to investigate. There was a family
of the Vireos, all in the big oak, looking down at
a Galijay that was taking bread to feed its young.
