Harris Woodpecker east of house. Flicker
called across canyon (first one heard).
Many brush-tits. Mrs. Naackley reported
a brood of nine or ten quail at west end
of Canyon Road, young molting.
Sept.26. Townsend Warbler and Black-throated
Gray Warbler near my east window - throats
white. One of each - not together.
