Anna Hummer - not seen on its usual perch on electric wire but heard in the Eucalyptus tree near Cy.
Allen Hummer - whistled of pendulum heard, one male seen.
Western Flycatcher - 4 males, one near house above road with nesting material in its beak.
Wood Peewee - one heard calling near mouth of canyon and also toward Smythe property.
Blue-sided Flycatcher - could hear the "pa-pip" call toward D.D. Institution.
Coast Jay - several heard toward Smythe property.
Calif. Jay - ab-
Bush tits - two families seen.
Wren-tits - at least five singing males.
Vigors Wren - three
Home Wren - one heard in distance -
Thraher - Three singing males, one near mouth of the canyon, two above Mann house.
Lutecent Warbler - 3 singing males.
Palestated Warbler - very silent - one calling, no songs.
Tolmie Warbler - one singing above Mann house.
W.Tanager - one calling near mouth of canyon.
Lazuli Bunting - one singing beyond Mann house.
Purple Finch - at least five singing.
Linnnet - many in grasses outside canyon. A few inside.
G.B. Goldquich - one heard.
Siskin - several (3) heard.
Spotted Towhee - 4 males - One (not seen) sang the song "hear occasionally - loud, vibrant "cheese-it, cheese-it, cheese-it".
Brown Towhee - several, two.
Song Sparrow - three.
(No R.B. Thrush, Grosbeak, Yellow Warbler)
