One Kingfisher heard,
Feb. 29. Cloudy. Warm.
Feb. 28. Partly cloudy with heavy rain in the
late afternoon. Faculty Bird Group
went to Contra Costa County. We stopped
near the Maranga Road not far from the
Orinda junction (1/4 mile) where San Pablo
Creek flows through. Birds were very abundant
and many species. We spent an hour
or more there then went on to San Pablo
Reservoir where we ate lunch. Then
