Hermit Thrush, Fox Sparrow, Townsend Warbler near
home in Berkeley.
While we were both away from home the U.C.
sprayers sprayed all the oaks on our place
except three near the street - no permission.
Apr. 7. The sprayers asked permission to spray the
rest of the trees - no expense to us. These
those are the ones which cause the greater
amount of discomfort in the level part of the
garden. I had them finish the job. The trees were
being very severely mouse-eaten and there has been
no rains to delay migrations and so increase
birds. Took M. & Mrs. Mead to Border Creek.
