117 Celedais Warbler - a few heard? (more ab. later?) Yellow Warbler - very abundant. Yellow-headed Blackbird - ab. in taller east of Lakeport Brewer's Redwing - abundant along lake shore ? Finches ? - seen by Mrs. Hillerand W. Meadowlark - abundant Bullock Oriole - 1 Brewer's Blackbird - 1 ? Black-headed Grosbeak - abundant at Austin ? Lazuli Bunting - now seen, only one heard? (not in yet?) House Finch - too abundant Green-backed Goldfinch - abundant - Lawrence Goldfinch - several seen 2 Bushtit - reported by Mrs. Reed as singing Spotted Towhee - in chaparral areas Brown Towhee - ab. + singing W. Lark Sparrow - abundant; esp. east of Middleton (Bell Sparrow ? A bird singing in chaparral or west side of Kowalski) (Junco ? reported by Mrs. Sanders & Mrs. Reed) W. Cliff Swallow - abundant Golden-crowned Sparrow - a few near Austin Song Sparrow - abundant. One on lake shore sang late Marsh Song Sparrow Total 73 doubtful 6
