Crown elbriated. 1 Willow Goldfinch came to
bather.
Nov. 15. Another Golden-crowned Sparrow, banded
on the right foot came to the table. Neck
bands are more distinct than in the other
banded bird. Thrasher comes to same
perch constantly - a horizontal branch
near ground, 6 ft. east of bird bath,
and 12-15 ft. east of table. Flies direct
from this perch to table, or hops along
ground till almost underneath table,
then flies up. Took 9 mouthfuls cooked oat-
meal and 13 logan berries at one feeding.

Nov. 19. Rain. Anna H. went into pendulum
flight. Cedar Warblings seen.
Nov. 26. Rain again. Cedar Warblings seen.
Nov. 27. Clear, warm. Went to Claremont
Country Club. In addition to usual
birds, saw 1 Tolemite Warbler. Watched
it a full half hour, following it from
shrubs to shrub areas club house. Saw
white eye lids, gray head and yellow breast.
Flock of 20 Blue Birds flew over the
campus. Many Robins and Warblings on Prospect.
